At Rail Nomads Tours LLC, we strive to provide exceptional travel experiences for all our customers. However, we understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to modify or cancel your booking. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be requested and processed.
1. Booking Confirmation
Upon making a reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation email detailing your itinerary and payment information. It is your responsibility to review this information carefully and ensure its accuracy.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Standard Cancellation Terms
30 days or more before departure: Full refund minus a $100 processing fee.
15 to 29 days before departure: 50% of the total booking cost will be refunded.
Less than 15 days before departure: No refunds will be issued.
2.2 Special Promotions and Packages
For certain promotions or special packages, different cancellation terms may apply. These terms will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
3. Changes to Bookings
If you wish to make changes to your itinerary, please contact us as soon as possible. Changes may be subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
4. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Processing Time: Once we receive your request, we will process it within 5–7 business days. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Notification: You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been processed.
5. Exceptions
Refunds may not be issued in the following circumstances:
If you fail to show up for your scheduled departure.
If you leave the trip early or do not complete the itinerary.
If you cancel or change your booking after the specified cancellation period.
6. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unexpected cancellations or changes to your travel plans. This insurance can cover cancellation fees and other potential losses.
